Barielle Carnival Fiesta Collection and Swatches

I hope you enjoyed your Wednesday! The day is nearly over, probably will be over for me by the time I hit publish. Today I have Barielle's new winter collection to share with you. Carnival Fiesta. It consists of five metallic polishes varying between shimmer, frost, and duochrome.

Wanna Samba? is a purple to steel blue duochrome. It even appears teal at certain angles. It has a frost finish and applies opaque in two coats.

Jillian's Jammin' is a bright teal glass fleck that reflects purple at certain angles. The blue/purple duochrome is very strong in the bottle, but not quite as noticeable on the nail. Though it is more visible in person than in photos. The application is great and opaque in two coats. This is my favorite of the collection.

Lindsay's Dancin' is a shimmering red. Every holiday collection needs a red. I love the shimmer in this. Adds something extra. The application is great and opaque in two coats.

Holiday Madness is a metallic light olive green frost. The application is great and opaque in two coats. I love that it is not the typical holiday green. But rather something different.

Rio's Rockin' Bands is a medium purple shimmer. As with the rest, the application is great and opaque in two coats.

All in all, I love this collection! I wish the duochromes was stronger and that Wanna Samba? was a tad less frosty. But its a fun grouping.

Barielle polishes retail for $8 each an sets (including Carnival Fiesta) retail for $25 on their website.

Jesse's Girl Confetti

I hope you are enjoying your Tuesday! I have a sparkling polish to show you today.

Jesse's Girl Confetti is a purple and blue duochrome shimmer polish. Its rather sheer. This is four thin coats. And I mean thin. It does not feel thick at all even after four coats. The polish has a slight glitter like appearance, but is not glitter at all. How fun? The application is good. I definitely want to try this over darker colors. Dark blue, purple, or black. I think it would layer well.

Jesse's Girl retails for $4 at Rite-aid.

Catrice Iron Mermaiden

I hope you are enjoying your Friday!

Catrice Iron Mermaiden is a duochrome polish, mainly shifting between silver, purple, and green. In person, it is mostly a silvery purple. Visible brushstrokes are unavoidable, but they are more subtle than some. Please ignore the bubbles. I did a layer of gelous to help make this last through working truck. Gelous bubbles on me occasionally. This is three thin coats to make it opaque.

I wish this had not bubbled. I think I would have enjoyed it more.

Catrice is not sold here in the United States, so I'm unsure what the retail price is. You can find stores that sell them from their website.

Flormar U18

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday! I have a beautiful polish to show you today.

It was difficult to capture the beauty of Flormar U18 on the nail. However, the gorgeousness you see in the bottle does appear on the nail in person. This is two coats of U18. It applied very well and evenly. I absolutely love this polish!

Untrieds Day 1 - Love & Beauty Indie Rock Glitter

Today is the first day of this challenge I am participating in. The idea came from Taylor over at Nailed to the T. Its basically just as it sounds. Thirty days of untried polishes. How much fun is that? :)

For my first day, I wore Love & Beauty Indie Rock Glitter. Its a gorgeous blue with blue shimmer. If the light hits it just right, purple shimmer can be seen as well. You can see a bit of that purple in the last two pictures.

This is two coats of Indie Rock Glitter. The application is amazing. This is the first of the brand I have tried. It certainly makes me want to add some more to my collection (I already have two more). If you want to purchase this lovely polish, its available at Forever21.

If you want to check out more untried, there are several bloggers participating in this challenge as well.
