OPI Honey Ryder and Pussy Galore

OPI Honey Ryder and Pussy Galore along with a cute fruit fimo cane slice. I was not a fan of the first round of the OPI Liquid Sands, but I LOVE the OPI Bond Girls. I bought the whole collection. I never buy an entire OPI collection. I am addicted to pairing them in combinations like this. They are delightful textured. Just enough to be fun, not so much that it catches on things. Two coats to be opaque. Make sure you let them dry between each coat to achieve the best textured look and feel.

And how cute is the fimo cane slice next to the pink?! I was skeptical about wearing them, but putting it on the side of my nail helps it lay flat. This cute little fruit is pre-sliced from Born Pretty Store. It came in a set with other fruit slices. They are very wearable for everyday manicures if you place them right.

OPI Mermaid Tears

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday! We are three weeks into my new-ish weekly posts, which are voted on by you. Every Wednesday I add new polishes to vote for, and on Friday I post the polish you all voted for. I'm a day behind this week. Next week's poll is already up and consists of nail art.

OPI Mermaid Tears is a dusty turquoise sea foam green creme. The application is perfection and opaque in two coats. I cannot believe it took me this long to wear this beauty. I purchased it back when the Pirates collection was still in stores. I obsessed over getting it then never wore it. I kept staring at my nails, in love with the color.

OPI Give Me a Coral Sometime

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! Does anyone else buy polish only to have it sit in storage until you finally pick it up for a manicure. In the beginning, I was buying polish quicker than I could use it. So I have a rather large amount of untried polishes. I have been making a conscious effort to use my unused bottles, including the polish I have to show you today.

OPI Give Me a Coral Sometime is a sheer coral jelly filled with pink shimmer that flashes blue at certain angles. This shade of coral leans slightly more toward pink than orange. Its rather sheer. Three coats later you can still see a bit of visible nail line. But I am okay with that. It has that awesome squishy jelly finish, which I love. The application is great.

OPI Shatter the Scales

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! I know most are over the crackle fad. I still like them. Shatter the Scales has been sitting in my wishlist since swatches of the OPI Spiderman Collection first started popping up. I received it in a birthday gift recently and immediately wanted to wear it.

OPI Shatter the Scales is a dark blue toned green with silver flecks. Even if crackle is not your cup of tea, you have to attempt the polish itself is gorgeous. It shattered very well on all of my fingers with minimal effort. It really pops over white. While debating what polish to wear underneath, I tried gold which is gorgeous as well.

OPI Mad as a Hatter

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday! Today I have a gorgeous HTF polish to show you. I've had it for months and only worn it once before. The camera did not like it back then, so it never made it to my blog.

OPI Mad as a Hatter is a clear base with small round micro glitter. It has a variety of colors. Silver, purple, green, blue, gold, red, and probably a few others as well. It is very opaque on its own, but I still used Wet n Wild Silvivor as a base to fill in any empty spaces. I absolutely love this polish. And the wear is amazing. It did not chip at all during three days I wore it. Barely any tip wear as well. I did one coat of Silvivor, two coats of Mad as a Hatter then two coats of top coat to even things out.

MAAH has become quite the hard to find polish. If you do stumble across it, the price tag is usually high.

OPI Houston We Have a Purple with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple

I hope you are enjoying your Friday! Today I have a very pretty jelly to share with you.

OPI Houston We Have a Purple is a deep magenta jelly, or as they've been deemed, sorbet. As with most jellies, there is a bit of visible nail line, but not as much as it appears in the picture. In person, its practically opaque. I used two coats for most fingers and an extra third for two fingers. On my thumb and ring finger, I used Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple as an accent. Not quite holo, at least in my opinion. It flashes red, orange, yellow, and green. Regardless, its gorgeous. The application on both of these is great.

Matte Tinted Glitter Gradient

I hope you're enjoying your Monday! Today I have another manicure for Monkey See Monkey Do Monday. Basically you take inspiration from or recreate a mani done by someone else. 

I was inspired by this mani done by Ommorphia Beauty Bar. I used completely different polishes, but achieved a very similar effect. I used one coat of OPI Lincoln Park After Dark as my base. Next I sponged OPI Rainbow Connection on about two-thirds of my nails starting at the cuticle. To give the tint, I did one coat of OPI Houston We Have a Purple, a sheer jelly. Finally to give make my design a matte finish, I used Hard Candy Matte-ly in Love. 

I posted pictures of both matte and shiny. I love the way adding the matte top coat makes the glitter pop.

OPI My Chihuahua Bites!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday! I have a pretty polish to show you today. I bought it mainly for the name. I have a sweet little chihuahua.

OPI My Chihuahua Bites! is a lovely coral creme. It has great application and was opaque in two coats. I love pinks, corals included. So even though I bought this just for the name, I love it.

Color Club Worth the Risque & OPI Rainbow Connection

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend! A new year is on its way, so I am hoping to do New Year's inspired manis until January arrives.

Today I have a sparkly polish combination to show you. Holo and glitter. :)

I promise Color Club Worth the Risque is much more holo in person. It is a linear holo. The application was great and opaque in two coats. And the shine! There is no top coat in the pictures above. The polish itself is that shiny.

OPI Rainbow Connection is a pretty glitter polish packed with a rainbow of colors. It took a little patience to get some of the glitter to evenly distribute on my nail, but a lot of glitter polishes are like that. I used two coats, both thin to get the amount of glitter I wanted.
