Essence Magic Wand!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday and are currently enjoying their Saturday night! Today I have a little bit of a nail fail to show you. Magnetic polishes have a little bit of a learning curve. How close to hold the magnet without touching your nail. How long to hold it there, etc. I was successful when I swatched this polish, but not so successful doing it on my own nails.

Essence Magic Wand! is a pretty polish with a slight purple tint (that does not translate here) and a bit of a frost-like finish. In person the magnetic effect was more visible. I need to practice more. But I did want to post this because I know I'm not the only one who didn't get the hang of magnetic polish the first try. I'm going to try again soon and hopefully be successful.

Revlon Whimsical

I hope you're enjoying your Friday! Revlon Whimsical has been all over the nail polish blogs and groups since its release. At first, I honestly wasn't wowed. However, I did eventually get swept up in the frenzy.

It is very sheer, so much so that its best to layer it. I layered it over Love & Beauty Dawn Sky. The glitter in Whimsical is a little hard to place. Nothing a little patience doesn't fix. Absolutely worth the time. I'm still searching for the perfect polish to go under Whimsical that compliments its light blue base.

Whimsical has been placed into Revlon's permanent collection, so if you have not seen it yet, it will show up. I was patient and eventually found it at Ulta.

Love & Beauty Dawn Sky

I hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday! 

I love this color! Love & Beauty Dawn Sky is a pretty light robin's egg blue. Almost a pastel version. Its a two coat creme with amazing application. And so shiny. I had a layering combination in mind when I grabbed this beauty, so there's no topcoat in the pictures.

Catrice Dirty Berry

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day! I do not have a traditional pink or red mani to show you for Valentine's Day, but rather a lovely purple polish.

I am in love! Dirty Berry is a beautiful dusty purple with scattered holo shimmer. It applied like a dream, absolutely perfect in two coats. Super glossy as well. The first six pictures are without topcoat. 

This is the first Catrice polish I've every used, and one of the only two I own. I received both in my Valentine's gift. I could not be happier with my first Catrice experience.

Be My Valentine! A Gift Exchange

Remember in December when I posted about my Secret Santa gift? Well over at PAA, we did it all again. Krissi put together another amazing exchange for Valentine's Day. Names were drawn at random and we had no idea who was sending us a gift until it came in the mail.

My amazing gift came from Iva, a wonderful member of the group. I was so excited to get it!

Essence Magic Wand, Fruit Punch, I Like & Look by Bipa Metallic Matt

I'm absolutely in love with it all! I love Essence and can only get the Colour & Go here so I was thrilled to get three of them. I seriously cannot express how excited I was to pull out a Catrice polish. I did not have any of that brand before this. I've been wanting to try the Kleancolor Chunky Holos, but I can never find that brand near me. I've never heard of Look by Bipa, but the polish looks amazing. Its a silver holo! Last but not least, my new sunny China Glaze. Yellow and sparkle!

I also received a bottle of Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Confetti. I cannot wait to test this out for frankening! I got a rhinestone wheel. I love rhinestones! Also an Essence lipgloss from their Blossoms etc... collection named Naive. I'm a major lipgloss junkie. So I was thrilled. I also got a bunch of Haribo candies. I've had the gummy bears before, but the rest are something new for me. So far I've only gotten into the Happy Cola ones. Yay for self control. They taste just like soda.
