BA STAR Smoky Eye Shadow Palettes

I have a big love for polish, obviously. But I also have a love of makeup. I've always been a girly girl. So occasionally, I share a little about my other beauty love.

BA STAR let me know about their new eye shadow palettes. There are four different palettes to choose from. Each comes with five shades, three high pigment matte shadows and two gel glitter highlighters.

The palettes look gorgeous! I'm still trying to decide which one to order. I'm leaning toward the blue to play up my blue eyes. Each palette retails for $8.75. I have a code to share with you all, for 50% off. BBSMOKY. Visit BA STAR to see the palettes available.

Cats Galore! Born Pretty Stamping Plate Review

I hope you are enjoying your Thursday! If you love cats, I've got the stamping plate for you. I got my first kitten when I was barely three years old, so needless to say, I love cats.

I used all twelve designs to show you what each image looks like. The designs transfer easily, with nice crisp lines. I love the addition of feathers! They definitely go along nicely with cats. I got a little colorful with the cats, but kept them within natural fur colors. I used Love My Nails Angel (base), NYC Times Square Tangerine (orange), China Glaze Mahogany Magic (brown), Essence Stamp Me! Black, Konad Yellow, Ulta The Jungle Look (green), Blue Streak, Sally Hansen Raspberry Race, and Julep Alyson.

I love these designs! Particular the ones on my left middle, right ring, and thumb. Very cute kitties. And clearly defined.

This particular plate (Item ID: 4856) retails for $2.99 on Born Pretty Store, as well as all other single plates this size. They have a lot of fun designs to add some fun to your nails. Shipping is always free worldwide. You can also use my coupon code AHL91 to save 10% on your order.

Zoya Nyx

I hope you are enjoying your Monday! Today I have a beautiful textured polish to share with you.

Zoya Nyx is a perwinkle matte glitter with silver sparkle. It literally looks like pixie dust was sprinkled atop a matte periwinkle backdrop. So many nail polish brands are hopping on the textured wagon. The Pixie Dust Collection was the first to really catch by eye. The application is perfection and opaque in two coats. The finish is textured. It doesn't snag on hair or anything else. The directions say to apply with no base coat or top coat. I was a little worried about the wear time with no top coat. But Nyx surprised me. I was extremely hard on my nails the two days I wore it. No tip wear or chips.

Nyx is part of the Zoya Pixie Dust Collection and retails for $9 on Zoya. It also recently started showing up at Ulta for the same price. Zoya is releasing brighter Pixie Dust polishes for the Summer.

Spongebob! Born Pretty Stamping Plate Review

I hope you are enjoying your Tuesday! Or what is left of it. I have a very fun stamping plate to share with you today. A Spongebob Squarepants themed plate. I will admit; I am twenty-three years old and I love Spongebob. Its a part of my childhood. I was ten years old when it first aired.

I used each of the designs, except for one in the middle. Eleven designs and only ten fingers. As you can see, the designs are adorable and transfer well. The smudging you see on a couple of fingers is from the polish I used to stamp with, not the plate itself. I used Zoya Pippa as my yellow base and Sally Hansen Black Out as my black stamping polish.

If you like Spongebob, this is a definite must have. It makes a fun manicure!

This particular plate (Item ID: 4936) retails for $2.99 on Born Pretty Store, as well as all other single plates this size. They have a lot of fun designs to add some fun to your nails. Shipping is always free worldwide. You can also use my coupon code AHL91 to save 10% on your order.

Ulta Devious with Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter Accent

I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday! I have yet another Ulta brand polish to share with you today.

Ulta Devious is a dark eggplant purple creme. It goes on smooth and creamy like butter, opaque in two coats. I used Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter as an accent over Devious. Pinky Glitter is a light pink jelly filled with holo glitter and shimmer. The glitter really pops over a dark shade.

Ulta polishes retail for $6 at Ulta, in store and online. They frequently go on sale for as inexpensive as $2. Sinful Colors retail for $2 at Walgreens, Walmart, Target, and various other stores (a complete list on their website.)
