Rainbow Favorites Day 4 - Green

I hope you're enjoying your Wednesday! I have my fourth day of the rainbow challenge to show you today. It gets harder to pick each day. I have over about forty greens. Hard to pick. I went back and forth between three. Zoya Apple, China Glaze He's Going in Circles, and Color Club Holiday Splendor. I could not resist the holo.

China Glaze He's Going in Circles is a light green linear holo. The application is good, especially for a holo. It took two coats to be opaque. 

It retails for $10-20 depending on where you purchase it from. He's Going in Circles is part of the China Glaze Kaleidoscope Collection. Being a silver cap holo is what affects the price.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! I have a very green manicure to share with you today, inspired by the day.

I saw a design similar to this on Chloe's Nails and knew I had to do something like it for St. Patrick's Day. I painted on two coats of China Glaze He's Going in Circles. Then I did freehand french tips with Color Club Holiday Splendor. Its a very holo St. Patrick's Day!

He's Going in Circles is part of the China Glaze Kaleidoscope Collection. It retails for $10-20 various places online. Holiday Splendor is part of the Color Club Beyond the Mistletoe Collection. It retails for $4-8. I purchased mine in a collection set of all six for $8 at Ross.

Holy Holo! This is my very first holographic polish. I'm in love! Its a rainbow of colors packed into one bottle. The application was amazing and dried fast. I applied three coats. I'm sure I could have gotten away with two, but three worked well for me. And it dried so fast that putting on three coats was not a hassle at all.

I noticed a difference once I put a topcoat on, but I'm so hard on my nails at work that I need a topcoat. However, it is still gorgeous. And for all I know, I'm just imagining the difference.

These first two are taken without a topcoat on all of my fingers except my thumb. Not much a difference really, I suppose.

The last one is from yesterday. The flash shows more of the colors. Its a gorgeous polish! Very light green, almost silver. If you do not own a holo polish, you must find one. I got mine from a blogsale on Pretty and Polished by Chelsea.
