Barielle Gem Stone Earth Collection Swatches

I am very excited to show you all this collection today! It is the new Gem Stone Earth Collection from Barielle.

There are five earthy shades of polish in this lovely collection. They are perfect for every season. Neutrals at their best.

Pink Quartz is described as "opaque baby pink." It is perfect shade of baby pink. Not too bright, not too light. The application was good. It took three coats to evenly apply.

Granite Glitter is described as "metallic silver marble." This polish is by no means a glitter, but a nice metallic polish. It applied opaque in one coat though I used two for good measure. Its a nice metallic. Minimal visible brush strokes.

Amber Sparkler is describes as "metallic bronze with silver swirl." It reminds me of pouring cream in coffee. It is different than any other metallic polish I've seen. Though usually I've seen variations on silver and gold. This one is wonderfully bronze. It applied opaque in two thin coats. Out of all five, Amber Sparkler applies the best and is definitely in my top two of the collection.

Back to Nature is described as "creamy cappuccino." I can see the resemblance to coffee with a ton of cream, but to me its more like a pale terracotta pot. It applied as easily as Pink Quartz though it only needed two coats. I really like this neutral with my skin tone.

Green Opal is described as "metallic olive marble." That is a perfect description for this polish. Its another interesting metallic. It applied opaque in two thin coats. It would be my other top two of the collection. I honestly did not think Green Opal and Amber Sparkler would be my favorites. I'm rarely fond of brown polish and green is not really my color. But I find myself loving these.

I like all five and love three of them. Though I will definitely try thinning out Pink Quartz before I use it again. I think it will help with the application.

With the polish collection, I also received Barielle Nail Strengthener Cream.

Its one ounce of thick cream. I used it once before starting to apply the polishes. I swatched five polishes and removed four of them. The skin around my nails and my cuticles are not dry at all. Even after using polish remover four times. For me that's miraculous.

Its described as everyday nail care for healthier, stronger nails. Its supposed to help nails resist splits, peels and breaks. Used daily to maintain healthy nails with noticeable improvements in 3-4 weeks. And can be used over polish. "Originally created to condition the hooves of million dollar, thoroughbred racehorses, this trusted and legendary formula helps nails grow healthier and stronger while resisting splits, peels and breaks. May be used over nail enamel." I'm very excited to use this. I plan to post a review for it next month since takes how long it takes for noticeable improvements.

Both the nail polish and nail strengthener cream can be purchased from the Barielle website. The Gem Stone Earth collection set retails for $25 for all five polishes though they can be bought separately for $8 a piece. Barielle Nail Strengthener Cream is priced at $17.
