Orly Mysterious Curse

I hope you're enjoying your Thursday! Today, I have one of the new polishes from the Orly Dark Shadows Collection to show you. I bought three out of the four. Yesterday, I did a post for Decades of Dysfunction.




Orly Mysterious Curse is a deep plum purple with blue shimmer. It is opaque in two coats, don't let the streaky first coat discourage you.

    Looks better here than in some photos I had seen that just made it look like a a royal blue shimmer we have seen a zillion times. Here I really see some iridescence going on with the light blue (almost teal) reflect coming out. I hope when I get to a Sally's they have the collection so I can see for myself.

    I just saw an older Orly called Royal Velvet on a blog site and loved the shade...then one of the comments said that it was hard to find and that this color from the DS collection was a dupe for the old RV - it surely looks a ton like Royal Velvet! This is probably a shade I will get from the collection.

      I have heard that Mysterious Curse is close to Royal Velvet. You could probably find a post comparing the two.
